With party of 11 men left camp at 8.30 a.m. and marched to Belle Eglise. Heavy rain all the time and we got very wet. Train did not leave until 12.30 and then travelled very slowly with many stops. Stopped at Canaples and picked up large party of Canadians. Reach Woolincourt – the detraining point – at 12.00 and then marched to Ault Camp, 5 miles away which we reached about 1.30 – very tired and done up.
