Parade at 10.30 – AfterwardsWooley and I went and had a look at the tanks – the first time we have seen them – very weird grotesque machines – In the afternoon went to Sealvillers for pay – passed a squad of about 40 German prisoners returning from work on the roads – some of the men were small and very moderate looking and their uniforms were rather bedraggled looking. Griffiths rejoined the Company.
