With Nixon visited cemetry at E. Nucdros [Mudros] – a large number of French are buried here and some of the memorials erected are very artistic and charactersitic of the French.  They are nearly all different and show careful skill and thought, most of them look as if put up by personal friends of the men buried there.  A granite obelisk – dressed stone – is being erected in the middle of the cemetry as a memorial to the men buried there.

In the evening to a concert in the Y.M.C.A. given by a party from H.M.S. Lowestoft.
